Pre-Wedding Shoots

All I can say is the list of photographers out there are exhaustive, catering to every whim and fancy of the bride & groom. Couples are getting more adventurous with their choice of location shoot and some can be pretty quirky. Be it romantic, bizarre or even provocative it's a great way to capture the fun moments prior to the wedding. Now, wouldn't you want to show your future kids that Daddy & Mummy were once cool. :)

We Love Colours

Brides of late have been  starting a trend of wearing coloured wedding shoes. Who ever said the shoes had to match their gowns? Come on embrace your inner diva and get a pair of heels that makes you feel like the gorgeous bride that you are. Why not opt for red platforms, or blue peep-toes pumps, colourful flip flops or polka dots even.  It will definitely pop!

Come on unleash that wild side. Besides, who doesn't love shoe shopping. :)

Cake Maker, Cake Maker, Bake Me a Cake!

So... you're getting married, you've booked your venue and decided on a theme or colour scheme. Now comes the fun part. Trying cakes!!!
Well, gone are the day where modern brides settle for fake 6-tiers wedding cake with the gaudy looking flower or ribbon icing. Now you can have anything from your wildest dreams.

There are so many wonderful bakers out there who's willing to create whatever your heart desires. If you have a great Aunty, relative or friend who makes those cakes for special occasion, why not give them a try? Or if you quite the expert at making gorgeous cupcakes this might be worth looking for the budget conscious bride or just keen to give that personal touch.
Don't you just love this vintage looking cupcakes?

Tea Ceremony

I love the excitement, fun and tradition that comes hand in hand with a Chinese wedding. For those who are not familiar with tea ceremonies, in a nutshell it's a way for the bride and groom to honor their families and for their relatives to extend words of love, advice and present red envelopes (normally known as 'ang pows') with jewellery or money to the couple. The festive day is normally decorated in red to bring good fortune and luck. Red signifies love, joy and prosperity.
